Job summary

C Copper Overseas Service Company (COSCO) is seeking a Technical Expert in Underground Ventilation to plan, implement, and maintain ventilation systems for an underground mine. The role emphasizes advanced analysis, mentoring, and continuous improvement across safety, environmental, and operational performance.

The incumbent will lead ventilation modeling, collaborate with finance for procurement, and drive medium- to long-term ventilation plans with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 8+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of environmental hazards, monitoring and control.
• Experience in underground ventilation design and maintenance.
• Ability to prepare AFEs, reports, and technical docs.
• Experience in project management and stakeholder coordination.
• Fluent in English; willingness to learn Bahasa Indonesia.
• Proficient with Ventsim or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain underground mine ventilation systems.
• Mentor counterparts and share knowledge for continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety and environmental standards compliance.
• Lead air quality initiatives and cost-controlled procurement.
• Develop long-term ventilation plans and validate models.
• Collaborate on capital projects and AFEs.
• Coordinate with Finance on equipment procurement.
