Job summary

PT Freeport Indonesia Inc. is seeking a Mine Underground Foreman for the DMLZ Dispatch to supervise and optimize underground production through the Dispatch system, coordinating with Operations to hit tonnage and grade targets.

The role requires a Mining Engineering degree with 1–3 years in underground operations and a working knowledge of Minegem and Minestar, plus strong safety and communication skills. You will oversee safety inspections, respond to emergencies, and mentor a team while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering with 1–3 years in underground mining and dispatch systems.
• Experience in Block Caving operations and underground engineering.
• Familiarity with Minegem and Minestar technology and centralized control systems.
• Knowledge of safety inspection procedures and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch, monitor, and coordinate underground production to meet targets.
• Operate dispatch system per shift orders and monitor draw orders.
• Investigate non-compliance with dispatch instructions and report findings.
• Communicate with Operations daily to track progress against plan.
• Coordinate with Instrument, MIS, and maintenance for equipment availability.
• Act as call taker during emergencies and incidents.
• Mentor subordinates and evaluate performance.
