Job summary

British American Tobacco Indonesia invites a Transport Manager (Domestic & EXIM) to lead the end-to-end transport operations in Malang. You will oversee the transport network, manage customs compliance, and optimize costs while coordinating with procurement and government stakeholders.

The role requires a minimum of five years in EXIM and Transport Management, strong communication, and a deep understanding of Indonesia customs. A SAP ECC background and logistics experience are preferred.

• SAP ECC system knowledge.
• General understanding in IWS and expertise in Supply Chain.
• Min of 5 years experience as EXIM Manager and Transport Management.
• Experience engaging with government stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge in customs regulation especially related to customs facility.
• Logistics experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for the daily, tactical and strategic operation of the Transport Network, driving Transport Partners to meet service goals.
• Support local Supply Chain Managers aligning facilities with market Transport Road Operations within the region.
• Manage Customs and Transportation Management and ensure compliance.
• Ensure transportation readiness for domestic & exim shipments and manage supplier agreements.
• Lead process improvements (UPS, WPI, etc.) to optimize shipments.
• Collaborate with procurement to review supplier performances (OTIF).
• Ensure transportation processes align with regulations and BAT EHS policies.
• Aim for cost-efficient transport management and lower wastage.
• Support continuous improvement in operational planning and supplier performance.

• Ensure company transaction align with customs & excise regulation
• Manage transportation for both domestic and exim to support end to end process in supply chain going smoothly including supplier performance management with procurement., manage regulation as per compliance together with Legal and CORA

Your key responsibilities will include:

Business:

• Be accountable for the daily, tactical and strategic operation of the Transport Network, managing the Transport Control Towers and driving our Logistics Transport Partners to deliver against our service effectiveness and efficiency requirements on behalf of the local End Markets, Region and Global SNO teams
• Support local Supply Chain Managers in delivering a high degree of synchronicity and alignment between the local facilities and the above market Transport Road Operations within the region.

• Managing Customs and Transportation Management
• Managing and monitoring company transaction align with customs regulation
• Responsible to ensure transportation readiness to support domestic & exim shipment
• Responsible on agreement management with supplier
• Lead improvement process (UPS, WPI etc) to support shipment process
• Collaborate with procurement to review supplier performances (OTIF)
• Managing and ensuring the process and management of transportation are aligned with regulations and BAT EHS policies
• Ensure transport management implemented in efficient way to optimize the cost
• Managing compliance of customs and excise requirement including customs facility
• Achieve zero C2S miss due to material availability
• Support to achieve optimum FG inventory duration
• Continuous improvement on operational planning & supplier performances

People:

• Achieves full compliance for self, direct and indirect reports
• Coaches' direct reports
• Engage with internal & external collaborator related with customs and transportation planning
• Provide feedback to supplier on their performances through performance review
