About the role PT Xun Wei International is seeking a Translator Jepang to join our administrative and office support team. This is a full-time position based in North Jakarta, Jakarta. In this role, you will play a vital part in facilitating communication between our Japanese-speaking partners, clients and stakeholders and our Indonesian operations. As Translator Jepang, you will provide high-quality translation services that support business operations, maintain accuracy in documentation, and ensure seamless cross-cultural communication. This position is instrumental in enabling our company to expand and strengthen relationships with Japanese business partners.
Business Interpretation and Coordination: Responsible for two-way Japanese ⇔ Indonesian interpretation throughout the business negotiation process with Japanese clients and business partners, including online/offline meetings and client visits. Accurately communicate cooperation requirements, quotations, and business terms.
End-to-End Business Follow-up: Independently handle Japanese clients, follow up on cooperation progress, order processes, client feedback, and issue coordination. Maintain strong client relationships and facilitate the successful implementation of business cooperation.
Document Translation: Responsible for bilingual translation, proofreading, organization, and filing of business contracts, cooperation agreements, quotations, business correspondence, project proposals, reconciliation documents, and other related materials.
Work Review and Reporting: Regularly organize business coordination records, meeting minutes, and client follow-up records; provide updates on work progress and promptly report cooperation risks and issues.
Cross-functional Communication and Coordination: Act as a liaison between the Japanese team and internal departments, helping to resolve language and process-related issues in business activities and cooperation.
Education: Bachelor's degree or above from a full-time university program.
Language: Native Indonesian speaker with excellent Japanese proficiency. Fluent in Japanese listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with the ability to independently provide interpretation during business negotiations. JLPT N2/N1 certification is preferred.
Skills: Strong awareness and ability in business coordination and client follow-up; professional communication skills; clear logical thinking; and strong ability to work under pressure.
Experience: Experience in international trade, business negotiations, or client follow-up is preferred. Outstanding bachelor's degree fresh graduates may also be considered.
