Who you'll be working for
A global logistics and freight forwarding company providing end-to-end international shipping solutions, including sea and air freight, warehousing, customs clearance, and e-commerce fulfillment services.
What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Transportation, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics, preferably with strong exposure to China–Indonesia trade lanes.
- 2–3 years of experience in a managerial, supervisory, or trade lane role
- Strong knowledge of ocean and/or air freight, particularly FCL/LCL and international shipping processes.
- Good understanding of China–Indonesia import/export regulations, customs, documentation, and shipping routes.
- Proven experience in business development, customer acquisition, and key account management.
- Strong commercial skills, including freight rate negotiation, pricing, margin management, and P&L awareness.
- Fluent in Mandarin at business level, both spoken and written — must
- English proficiency is preferred.
What you'll be doing on the job
- Drive TEU/CBM and shipment volume growth across the China–Indonesia trade lane.
- Develop and execute trade lane strategies to strengthen business performance and market coverage.
- Manage lane profitability, pricing, and margins to achieve commercial targets.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts, shipping lines, agents, and business partners.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the China–Indonesia market.
- Coordinate closely with DeWell’s China offices to ensure smooth cross-border operations and business development.
- Negotiate freight rates, capacity, and service terms with shipping lines and agents.
- Monitor China–Indonesia market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities.
