Job summary

PT First Jakarta International seeks a Building Technician to operate, monitor, and maintain building systems across highrise offices and malls in Sudirman Jakarta. You will handle power generation, electrical distribution, fire safety, HVAC, plumbing, and elevators.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience, familiarity with DSE controllers, ATS/AMF systems, and emergency response procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as Building Technician in highrise commercial buildings, apartments, or malls.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting Genset with DSE controller and ATS/AMF systems.
• Proficiency in operation, testing, and alarm handling on MCFA fire alarm modules and building protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Genset, ATS/AMF, transformer, and building electrical distribution networks.
• Daily monitoring and testing of fire safety systems including fire pumps, hydrants, and sprinklers.
• Maintain building cooling units (chillers, AHU, FCU) and ventilation systems.
• Operate and repair building pump systems and water/wastewater networks.
• Maintain lighting, panels, and elevator systems with vendor coordination.

Job description

Teknisi Gedung (Building Technician) responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of building systems including power generation, electrical distribution, fire safety, HVAC, plumbing, and elevator systems in commercial buildings, apartments, or malls.

Key responsibilities

Operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Genset with Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) controller, ATS/AMF panel, transformer, PUTR/LVMDP, and regular maintenance of building electrical distribution networks

Daily monitoring and routine testing of MCFA (Main Control Fire Alarm) panel, inspection and maintenance of fire suppression pumps (Jockey, Electric, Diesel Pump), hydrant/sprinkler networks, and rapid response according to K3 SOP when danger/fire indicators occur

Routine maintenance and upkeep of building cooling units (Chiller, AHU, FCU, AC Split) and ventilation systems (Exhaust & Pressurization Fan)

Operation, monitoring, and repair of building pump systems (Transfer, Booster, Submersible), clean water pipes, wastewater pipes, and waste treatment systems (STP/WTP)

Maintenance of lighting, sub-panels, switches/outlets, and operational supervision of Lifts/Escalators including vendor coordination and passenger rescue procedures

About you

Minimum 3 years experience as Building Technician (Highrise Commercial Building/Apartment/Mall)

Experience operating and troubleshooting Genset/Power House with Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) controller and synchronization/ATS-AMF systems

Proficiency in operation, testing, and alarm handling on MCFA (Main Control Fire Alarm) module and building fire protection systems (Hydrant, Sprinkler, APAR)

Willing to work shifts and ready for emergency response
