Job summary

Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) is seeking a BAS and Electrical Technician to perform tests, simulations, and repairs on electrical control systems and interlocks. The role includes installation of new equipment, panel assembly, and routine maintenance in our Bogor/Sentul operations.

You will ensure process safety, follow safety rules, and uphold ISO/OHSAS quality standards while contributing to continuous improvement and practical hygiene/quality protocols.

Qualifications

• SMK or D3 in electrical engineering or related technical discipline.
• 1 year of experience in a similar role or field.
• Strong knowledge of BAS, control systems and HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct function tests and simulations on electrical appliances including Loop Control, alarms and interlocks.
• Install new electrical equipment and assemble control panels or automation tools as needed.
• Maintain and repair electrical machinery and control panels per schedules.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and respond to emergencies; report findings to supervisors.
• Coordinate and report non-standard conditions to Electrical Officer for improvements.
• Record daily activities and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for Officers and Foremen.
• Adhere to safety regulations and quality management standards (ISO, OHSAS, HACCP).
• Carry out hygiene and quality protocols including PRP, Deep Cleaning, and Glass Monitoring.
• Maintain tools, PPE and keep work environment clean.
• Align with corporate values and quality management standards.

Job Description Summary :

The BAS (Building Automation System) / Electrical Technician is responsible for conducting operational checks, function tests, and simulations on electrical control systems, loop controls, and interlocks.

Job Description :

• Conduct function tests and simulations on electrical appliances, including Loop Control, alarm systems, and interlock systems to maintain operational accuracy and process safety.
• Work on the installation of new electrical equipment with high quality, and assemble control panels or other automation tools as needed.
• Maintain and repair electrical machinery, control panels, and assigned work equipment according to set schedules to ensure continuous use.
• Act quickly to troubleshoot operational issues or respond to emergency calls, reporting findings to superiors.
• Coordinate and report non-standard conditions to the Electrical Officer to drive continuous improvements.
• Record daily activities, monitor machine conditions, and compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports for Officers and Foremen.
• Implement and comply with company safety regulations, electrical safety practices, and operational policies.
• Carry out specialized hygiene and quality protocols, including PRP, Deep Cleaning, and Glass Monitoring.
• Maintain and take responsibility for all tools, equipment, PPE, and the overall cleanliness of the work environment.
• Adhere to corporate values and quality management standards (ISO 9001:2000, ISO 22000:2005, Halal, SMK3, ISCC, RSPO, SMART D_Safe, OHSAS 18001, HACCP).

Job Requirements :

• Minimum Vocational High School (SMK) or Diploma (D3) in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role or field.
• Strong knowledge of control systems, Building Automation Systems (BAS), and HVAC systems.
• Hands-on experience in electrical equipment installation, panel assembly, loop control testing, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards, electrical safety, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, OHSAS, HACCP).
• Good discipline, reporting skills, and commitment to continuous improvement and company values.
• Willingness to be placed in Sentul, Bogor.
