Job summary

SAMORA GROUP seeks an experienced QA Manager to lead quality assurance, QC and laboratory functions at its Cilegon facility. The role oversees raw materials, in-process and finished products quality, while ensuring compliance with quality systems.

Ideal candidates hold a science degree and at least 5 years of managerial QA experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing, with strong ISO/FSSC/GMP/Halal knowledge and SPC training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Food Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in QA, QC, and Laboratory functions.
• Solid knowledge of QC systems in food/pharma manufacturing.
• Experience in QA audit systems.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Standards (ISO 9001:2015, FSSC 22000, GMP, Halal).
• SPC certification/training with process monitoring exposure.
• Placement at PT Sentra Usahatama Jaya, Cilegon (Samora Group).

Responsibilities

• Control the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, and by-products.
• Manage procurement of chemicals and operational materials.
• Ensure accuracy and timely distribution of refining reports.
• Issue COAs for finished sugar products and ROAs for raw sugar and in-process materials.
• Prepare performance and auxiliary material consumption reports for efficient operations.
• Handle customer complaints and product returns.
• Analyze and resolve quality, food safety, and supply chain issues.
• Evaluate product, process, and packaging developments prior to implementation.

Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in QA, QC, and Laboratory functions.

Solid knowledge and practical experience in Quality Control (QC) systems within a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.

Having experience in QA audit systems.

SPC (Statistical Process Control) certification/training with practical experience in manufacturing process monitoring and improvement.

Willing to be placed at PT Sentra Usahatama Jaya (a member of Samora Group), Cilegon, Banten.
