Alcon Indonesia is seeking a Technician III in Calibration and Instrumentation to perform routine calibration activities for Measurement & Test Equipment in our Batam facility. You will inspect gauges, sensors, transmitters, and meters, diagnose issues, and document results in accordance with defined procedures.
The role requires 1–3 years in calibration, a suitable diploma (Engineering Physics, Physics or Instrumentation), and familiarity with SAP/PR processes.
Responsible for executing internal calibration activities in accordance with approved schedules, procedures, and quality requirements. Ensures compliance with Alcon Quality Systems, HSE, DI, GDP, SOPs, and 5S. Supports calibration documentation, equipment tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assists in the safe handling and transportation of vendor calibration equipment between the laboratory and warehouse.

This role is part of Alcon's Engineering function, a team focused on improving quality, processes, products, packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes. The Technician III, Instrumentation & Calibration Technical Support (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible to perform routine internal calibration activities for Measurement & Test Equipment (MTE) in the manufacturing facility. You will be expected to apply technical skills and problem-solving abilities while adhering to procedures.
