Job summary

PT Trakindo Utama is seeking a hands-on service technician to support electrical and heavy equipment maintenance. The role involves guiding junior staff, completing service documentation, and ensuring safe, compliant service execution across various mechanical processes.

You will implement standard procedures, explain technical solutions to customers, and ensure timely delivery of service activities. The position requires an SMK qualification and a willingness to work in a field service

Qualifications

• SMK diploma in Electrical/Heavy Equipment/Mechanical/Technical field.
• GPA not required (N/A).
• Willingness to work in a field/service environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance for lower level as part of development.
• Complete, verify, and submit service documentation per manuals to ensure accurate records and proper service processing.
• Perform contamination control and safety activities for technical job processes per manuals to ensure safe execution.
• Identify waste and participate in continuous improvement to enhance safety, quality and efficiency.
• Execute mechanical job processes (DA, RI, PM, Recondition, Technical Analysis 1) per manuals to ensure quality.
• Ensure adherence to corporate standard procedures and best practices for consistent service execution and compliance.
• Provide technical explanations to customers under guidance to clarify issues and solutions.
• Ensure service activity responds quickly, meets target completion, and satisfies customer requirements.
• Process parts requests/returns for technical job processes following manuals and ensuring parts are in good condition at handover.
• Ensure tools/equipment use per manuals and keep them in good condition for safe, accurate execution.
• Define service requirements (revenue, warranty, or guarantee) related to customer requests to meet needs.
