Job summary

CommScope is seeking a senior technical specialist in Jakarta to provide pre-sales and post-sales support for complex Cabling and data-center solutions. You will develop high-level designs, demonstrate products, and conduct proofs of concept while training customers, partners, and system integrators.

The role demands strong telecom, networking, and data-center knowledge with preferred certifications. You will assist with on-site installation, service, and support, and act as a technical liaison

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, Computer or local equivalent with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Current industry technical certification (preferred) such as BICSI RCDD, DCDC, OSP or FTTH is desirable.
• Computer and office skills (MS Office, Windows/Unix OS, Web programming and Database, Visio or CAD Drawing).
• Minimum 5 years of structured cabling system design experience.
• Knowledge of local building, electrical and data-communication codes and standards (NEC, CSA, IBC; ANSI/TIA 568 series; ISO 11801; ANSI/TIA-942-B).
• Familiar with Data Center functional areas and trends; effective with Cabling Solutions across CommScope products.

Responsibilities

• Providing product and technical support to external and internal customers as a contributing team member.
• Providing pre-sales technical support for development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions for CommScope product lines, including modification of product applications to meet customer network configurations.
• Providing technical assistance through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of CommScope products.
• Providing product and application training to end users, channel partners, and system integrators.
• Providing post-sales technical expertise during installation, implementation, testing, and maintenance of CommScope products.
