Job summary

DOKU is hiring a System Reliability Engineer to ensure availability and reliability of our systems, driving optimization, automation, and cost efficiency. You will scale infrastructure, automate tasks, and support CI/CD with Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in reliability engineering or related roles, strong Java skills, and experience with incident management and observability tools. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in system reliability engineering or similar roles (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Proficient in building and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud).
• Proficient in Java programming (minimum 2 years).
• Experience with incident management and observability tools (PagerDuty, Grafana, Datadog).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems and applications are available and reliable, meeting uptime and performance targets.
• Scale infrastructure and applications efficiently as the company grows.
• Identify opportunities for optimization to increase observability and reduce costs.
• Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and resource utilization.
• Support CI/CD processes and streamline development and deployment activities.
• Participate in incident management and rapid resolution of issues using observability tools.
• Work with cloud platforms to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure.
• Provide Level 2 technical support for system integration and internal teams.
