Job summary

Petrosea seeks a Surveyor to conduct surface and subsurface field surveys at mine sites, gathering quantities for monthly progress claims and supporting planning with precise data. You will use and maintain survey software to ensure timely, accurate results.

You will coordinate with Engineering and Construction teams to ensure field designs are properly implemented, while actively maintaining SHE programs and ISO-aligned procedures to achieve Zero LTI and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any major is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Surveyor.
• Mine Surveying certification and POP competency required.
• Fluent English is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Use and maintain survey software to ensure efficient survey activities.
• Conduct field surveys and accurately determine quantities for monthly progress claims.
• Collect accurate daily survey data and download into computer for interpretation.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Construction teams to ensure field designs are implemented correctly.
• Maintain and implement SHE programs, including SHE Management System, to ensure effectiveness and compliance with standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3/SMKP).
• Target Zero LTI and ISO-standard SHE practices.

Job description

• Conducts surveys at surface and subsurface mine sites to implement mine design and obtain data used in planning mining operations including monitoring recovery, productivity and submission of progress claims align with company's policies and rules.

Use and maintain survey software in order to ensure efficiency in survey activities. Surve activities have been proven efficient.

Conduct field surveys in good time and accurately determine quantities necessary for the submission of monthly progress claims. Field surveys are successfully conducted and the results are accurate.

Collect accurate daily survey and download data into the computer to ensure datas are interpreted accurately by the Survey Draftsman. Accurate daily surveys and interpretations are successfully gained.

Coordinate and liase with Engineering and Constructions Team to ensure that construction designs are being properly implemented in the field. Construction designs are being properly implemented in the field.

Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

Education

• May be required to work flexible hours to suit Project requirements
• Fluent in English, bothspoken and written is an advantage

Certification

• If candidates do not meet the requirements specified in the Education section, evaluation shall be conducted in accordance with KKNI Level 4.
