Job summary

Digital Place Vision Pte Ltd in Tangerang, Indonesia, is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to improve AI-powered supply chain systems through rigorous data analysis and sound business reasoning.

You will collaborate with AI Engineers, Data Engineers, Product Managers, and supply chain stakeholders to translate real‑world processes into analytical logic, evaluation frameworks, and continuous system improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in supply chain analytics, retail operations, inventory planning, business analysis, or a related analytical role.
• Solid understanding of retail supply chain processes, particularly inventory management, replenishment, allocation, distribution, and store operations.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate root causes rather than focus only on symptoms.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience analyzing and validating business data.
• Experience with BI tools, data visualization, and KPI development.
• Ability to translate business problems into clear business rules, analytical requirements, and testable scenarios.
• Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate whether AI-generated outputs are logically sound, factually correct, and aligned with business requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Supply Chain Processes: Understand retail supply chain operations, including inventory management, replenishment, product allocation, distribution center operations, and store fulfillment.
• Improve AI System Performance: Evaluate AI-generated analyses, root cause explanations, and recommendations to identify inaccuracies, missing context, and incorrect business assumptions.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis: Investigate supply chain issues using business data and validate whether AI-generated conclusions are supported by evidence.
• Define Business Logic: Translate supply chain processes, business rules, operational constraints, and KPI definitions into structured requirements for AI systems.
• Develop AI Evaluation Frameworks: Create test scenarios, benchmark cases, expected outputs, and evaluation criteria to measure AI accuracy, consistency, and business relevance.
• Collaborate with Technical Teams: Work with AI Engineers, Data Engineers, and Product Managers to identify system improvement opportunities and translate business findings into actionable technical requirements.
• Validate System Improvements: Conduct user acceptance testing and regression testing to ensure changes improve AI performance without breaking existing functionality.
• Maintain Business Knowledge: Document business rules, analytical methodologies, edge cases, and reference scenarios to support continuous AI system improvement.
• Monitor Improvement Outcomes: Track recurring AI errors, evaluate implemented changes, and identify opportunities to improve system reliability and business impact.
