Job summary

Mattel in Indonesia is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee final assembly and die cast production, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time output. The role focuses on monitoring processes, leading a large team, and driving improvements across multiple shifts in Cikarang.

You will coordinate with Facilities and Engineering, implement ISO 9001/14001 practices, and coach staff toward higher performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years as Supervisor Production in Final Assembly or Die Cast with a team of 100+ operators.
• Willing to rotate 3 shifts Monday–Saturday.
• Willing to work in Cikarang, Bekasi.
• Strong leadership to drive team to meet goals and improve.
• Good communication in English (spoken and written).
• Team player and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes to ensure performance, aesthetics and safety in Fashion Dolls/Die Cast.
• Identify and implement people initiatives to improve product quality and reduce non-value-added work.
• Identify problems and propose engineering solutions to improve process and product quality.
• Coordinate with Facilities and Engineering for preventative maintenance of equipment and tooling.
• Implement and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001 compliant systems.
• Provide guidance and motivation to subordinates to achieve department goals.
• Supervise labor distribution to ensure schedule adherence and timely delivery.
• Supervise labor costs to meet efficiency targets and labor-rate predictions.

Job Description

Daily monitoring of production processes and methods to ensure performance, product aesthetics and safety standards are achieved in Fashion Dolls / Die Cast production.

Identify and implement people initiatives, which directly improve product quality and eliminate non-value-added work to ensure cost effective, product quality is achieved.

Identify problems and suggest engineering solutions which directly improve process / product quality.

Coordinate with support departments (Facilities and Engineering) to ensure that process equipment and line tooling undergo regular Preventative and Line Maintenance at the appropriate times.

Implement and maintain systems / procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001

Provide assistance, support, instruction and motivation of all subordinates in order to get positive result to support department objectives.

Supervise production labor distribution and process performance to ensure daily and weekly schedule adherence is achieved and customers’ requirements are met on a timely basis.

Supervise labor costs through the effective use of resources, thus achieving the production primary processes efficiency targets and attaining Labor Rate predictions

Qualifications

Formal Educational Level: Bachelor’s degreein Mechanical / Industrial Engineering.

Working Experience: Minimum 3 years working experience as Supervisor Production in Final Assembly or Die Cast, supervising a team more than 100 operators.

Willing to work in rotating of 3 shifts basis from Monday to Saturday.

Willing to work in Cikarang, Bekasi.

Strong leadership, able to drive team to meet the goal & make improvement.

Good communication in English (orally and written)
