Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking an experienced professional to coordinate MEP works, supervise staff and subcontractors, and optimize installation time. The role focuses on safety, continuous improvement, and effective resource management across civil projects.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma in civil/structural engineering, 7+ years in civil/construction, and strong knowledge of MEP installation standards and safety regulations. Prior experience with civil contractors is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience managing operations and technical roles in construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works to achieve targets.
• Coordinate and develop assigned subordinates to optimize time in MEP installation.
• Coordinate continuous improvement and optimization activities for efficiencies.
• Ensure sufficient competent technical resources for MEP installation activities.
• Enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures and HSE compliance.
• Develop reports to present daily, weekly and monthly results.
• Perform knowledge sharing to enhance professional development within the organization.

Job description

Key Accountabilities:

1. To coordinate the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works to which he has been assigned in order to ensure that targets are achieved
2. To coordinate and develop the assigned subordinates in order to optimize workable time in MEP installation.
3. To coordinate continuous improvement and optimization activities in order to ensure optimum efficiencies in ongoing basis.
4. To ensure sufficient competent technical resources are available in order to effectively perform MEP installation activities.
5. To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.
6. To develop reports in order to ensure the accurate presentation of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
7. To perform knowledge sharing in order to enhance the professional development within the organization

Requirements:

• Diploma in civil /structural engineering or related disciplines
• Deep knowledge upon practical application of mechanical/electrical/plumbing installation & safety legal requirements
• 7++ years experience in civil/construction
• Have extensive experience in MEP installation works with a capability in monitoring direct staff and subcontractors
• Experience in managing operational and technical role in the construction industry.
• Experience working at civil contractor is preferred.
