Job summary

ASC Course is seeking a Shadow Teacher to accompany children during learning activities and school programs, providing individualized support based on each child's needs and abilities.

You will help children understand and follow instructions, support their learning, assist with emotion regulation and social interaction, observe progress, and coordinate with teachers, parents, and coordinators while upholding ethics and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Accompany children during learning activities and school activities
• Help children understand and follow teacher instructions
• Support the learning process according to children's needs and abilities
• Assist with emotion regulation, behaviour management, and children's sensory needs
• Facilitate communication and social interaction with teachers and peers
• Encourage children's independence in academic and non-academic activities
• Conduct observations and record children's progress and challenges
• Coordinate with teachers, parents, and institution coordinators
• Implement accompaniment programs and strategies according to professional or coordinator guidance
• Maintain ethics, professionalism, and confidentiality of information regarding children
