Job summary

Aurecon is expanding its Indonesia Built Environment practice in Jakarta, seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in buildings, industrial facilities, data centers and seismic design.

You will perform structural analysis, design and documentation using StaadPRO, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and AutoCAD, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering.
• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in structural engineering.
• Experience with buildings, industrial facilities, data centers and seismic design is advantageous.
• Experience with structural analysis software such as StaadPRO, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Indonesian standards (SNI) and international codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE).
• Good report writing and technical documentation skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong English communication (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of data center facilities, including reinforced concrete and steel structures, foundations and supports.
• Design for gravity, wind, seismic, and equipment loads per governing codes.
• Prepare engineering calculations, design reports, specifications and construction documentation.
• Contribute to design optimization, value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate with Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and BIM teams.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with quality management procedures.
• Support technical discussions and presentations with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Participate in all project phases from feasibility to construction support.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support the project manager in other project-related tasks.

What will you do?

In this position, you will join our growing Indonesia Built Environment business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of building and infrastructure projects. We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it is the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. • Perform structural analysis and design of Data Center facilities related aspect such as reinforced concrete structures, structural steel structures, foundations and substructures, equipment support structures, etc.
• Design for gravity, wind, seismic, and equipment loads in accordance with applicable standards and codes
• Prepare engineering calculations, design reports, specifications, and construction documentation
• Contribute to design optimization, value engineering, and constructability reviews
• Coordinate closely with Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and BIM teams
• Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with quality management procedures
• Support technical discussions and presentations with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
• Participate in all project phases, including feasibility studies, concept design, detailed design, and construction support
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
• Support project manager in performing other project related works

• Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., StaadPRO, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and AutoCAD)
