Job summary

Aurecon Indonesia is seeking a civil/structural engineer to join our Built Environment team in Jakarta. You will contribute to design and analysis for data centers and infrastructure projects, collaborating across disciplines to deliver practical, code-compliant solutions.

You bring a degree in civil engineering, 2–5 years of relevant experience, proficiency with StaadPro/ETABS/SAP2000/SAFE/AutoCAD, and strong English communication. Indonesian standards knowledge (SNI) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering.
• 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in structural engineering.
• Experience with buildings, industrial facilities, data centers and seismic design and/or high-rise is advantageous.
• Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., StaadPRO, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with Indonesian standards (SNI) and international codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, ASCE).
• Good report writing and technical documentation skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong English communication (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for Data Center facilities related aspect such as reinforced concrete structures, structural steel structures, foundations and substructures, equipment support structures, etc.
• Design for gravity, wind, seismic, and equipment loads in accordance with applicable standards and codes
• Prepare engineering calculations, design reports, specifications, and construction documentation
• Contribute to design optimization, value engineering, and constructability reviews
• Coordinate closely with Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and BIM teams
• Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with quality management procedures.
• Support technical discussions and presentations with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Participate in all project phases, including feasibility studies, concept design, detailed design, and construction support.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
• Support project manager in performing other project related works

What will you do?

In this position, you will join our growing Indonesia Built Environment business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across all types of building and infrastructure projects.
