Job summary

Welcons Engineering in Batam seeks a Civil Structural Engineer to analyse and design reinforced-concrete and steel structures, producing safe, practical solutions documented from calculations through construction drawings.

You will prepare structural calculations and drawings, coordinate with architectural and MEP teams, review design changes, and support site inspections, with strong attention to detail and clear technical communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably structural.
• Knowledge of structural mechanics and load paths.
• Experience with ETABS, SAP2000, and SAFE.
• Ability to read structural drawings in AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with SNI standards; knowledge of ACI/AISC is a plus.
• Ability to verify results with engineering judgment.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced-concrete and steel structures.
• Prepare structural calculations and design reports.
• Prepare drawings reflecting design requirements and reinforcement and connection details.
• Coordinate interfaces with architectural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Review design changes and site queries and propose practical solutions.
• Attend design coordination meetings and site inspections.
