Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Indonesia seeks a highly strategic Vendor Management Senior Manager to lead transportation vendor management across the country. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize vendor contracts, drive cost savings, and ensure performance aligns with DHL service standards.

This leadership role oversees a national team and requires a track record of delivering measurable procurement value in logistics, fostering strong vendor partnerships and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Transport Management, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Master's Degree is an advantage.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Experience in transportation operations or logistics environments.
• Experience leading vendor negotiations and contract management activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end vendor management processes, including sourcing, qualification, pricing, negotiation, analysis, and contracting.
• Ensure transportation vendors are fully contracted and ready prior to project go-live.
• Conduct risk assessments on vendor contracts and agreements.
• Maintain governance and compliance across the vendor network.
• Review and analyze supplier rate cards and pricing structures.
• Partner with Solution Design teams to develop transportation solutions for customers.
• Drive transportation gross profit performance through vendor management strategies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and deliver annual vendor savings initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate transportation vendor performance.
• Establish strong relationships with strategic vendors and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Coordinate vendor readiness for new business opportunities.
• Promote continuous improvement across transportation operations and vendor partnerships.
