Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a strategic risk advisor to embed risk considerations into business planning and decision-making. You will identify macro risk drivers and assess their potential impact on the organization, guiding strategic initiatives with risk insights.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between strategy and risk exposure, preparing insights and recommendations for senior leadership across performance and sustainability issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
• Relevant experience in strategic risk, enterprise risk management, consulting, or corporate strategy.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to translate complex risk insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders by embedding risk considerations into business planning and decision-making
• Identify and assess macro risk drivers (e.g., geopolitical, economic, technology, climate, workforce) and their potential impact on the organization
• Evaluate risks arising from strategic initiatives and assess implications on performance and sustainability
• Provide insights on emerging and unforeseen risks that may affect business direction
• Support scenario analysis and strategic risk assessments
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between strategy and risk exposure
• Prepare risk insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders
