Job summary

Key duties include market analysis, building supplier relationships, and reporting procurement performance to management; strong negotiation and leadership are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Management, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong negotiation, cost analysis, and vendor management skills.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end procurement processes, contracts, and supplier risk management.
• Proficient in Ms. Excel/ERP systems for reporting and analysis.
• Strong leadership, high integrity, and a strong results orientation.
• Able to work toward cost-efficiency targets and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop the company's overall procurement strategy and policies.
• Oversee vendor/supplier selection, negotiation, and evaluation to secure the best price and quality.
• Ensure the purchasing process complies with SOPs, budget, and the company's cost-efficiency targets.
• Review and approve Purchase Orders (PO) and Purchase Requisitions (PR) within authorized limits.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic vendors/suppliers.
• Conduct market analysis and price trend research to support procurement decisions.
• Lead, direct, and evaluate the performance of the purchasing team (Supervisors & Staff).
• Prepare regular reports on procurement, cost savings, and vendor performance for management.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with legal, contractual, and company policy requirements.
