Job summary

J&T Cargo in Jakarta is seeking a senior payroll manager to lead end-to-end payroll for permanent, contract, and outsourced staff. You will ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with local labor rules while coordinating with HR, Finance, Operations, and external vendors to maintain precise employee data and timely payroll processing.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, fluency in English, and experience with large multi-site payroll operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR/Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in payroll management, preferably logistics.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll operations for multiple employee types.
• Ensure payroll accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with laws.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, Operations, and vendors for data integrity.
• Manage outsourced workforce administration and vendor relationships.
• Address payroll/HR inquiries and support grievance resolution.
• Prepare payroll reports and drive system improvements.
