Job summary

PT. Pelsart Tambang Kencana is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to source and evaluate service providers, manage RFQs, purchase orders, and expediting for mining and construction projects in Kotabaru, South Kalimantan.

You will ensure SoWs align with operational needs and company policies. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in procurement, strong English, negotiation, and proficiency with MS Office and procurement systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar procurement role with exposure to mining, construction, or related industries.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English (spoken and written).
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and negotiation skills.
• Independent, proactive, and able to manage multiple service procurement cycles with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate potential service providers in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Request quotations, prepare bidding summaries, issue purchase orders, and handle expediting activities for service-related requirements.
• Coordinate with user departments to ensure scope of work (SoW) is clearly defined and aligned with operational needs.
• Monitor and follow up on procurement progress and delivery timelines.
• Work closely with logistics and site SCM teams to resolve outstanding requisitions and ensure timely support for project activities.
• Prepare and maintain procurement and expediting reports for internal tracking and audit readiness.
• Conduct commercial evaluations and prepare procurement recommendations for management approval.
