Job summary

Merdeka Copper Gold, an Indonesian mining company listed on the IDX, is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Jakarta Pusat to support procurement and sourcing for projects and operations.

You will coordinate requirements, prepare RFQs, bid evaluations, purchase orders, and support P2P processes with Finance and vendors. The role emphasizes compliance, supplier performance evaluation, and maintaining records using company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or a related function.
• Open for fresh graduates.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement and sourcing activities to ensure timely availability of goods and services for project and operational needs.
• Coordinate with internal users to gather and clarify procurement requirements, including specifications, quantities, delivery schedules, and budget information.
• Assist in sourcing activities by identifying potential suppliers and collecting relevant commercial and technical information.
• Prepare and administer procurement documents, including RFQs, bid evaluations, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout the procurement process to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
• Monitor procurement progress and follow up on outstanding purchase requests, purchase orders, and supplier commitments.
• Support the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process by coordinating with Finance, Accounting, Tax, and vendors to facilitate timely invoice processing and payment.
• Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and sourcing documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance and provide input for continuous improvement of procurement and sourcing activities.
• Ensure procurement activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
