Job summary

Japfa Comfeed is seeking a Key Account Manager for Makassar to manage major food service accounts and drive growth in hotels, restaurants, catering, QSRs, and cloud kitchens. You will develop account plans, set volume targets, and build long-term relationships with chefs, buyers, and owners.

Role requires negotiation, contract management, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, supply chain, and finance teams to optimize margins and ensure on-time delivery and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop key accounts in the food service channel (hotels, restaurants, catering, QSR, cloud kitchens, etc.).
• Develop annual account plans, volume targets, and account development strategies.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders (chefs, purchasing, owners, finance).
• Conduct price negotiations, contracts, and collaboration programs while considering margins and profitability.
• Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new product listings.
• Monitor forecasts, orders, and sales realization for key accounts.
• Handle customer complaints related to product quality, service, and supply in a professional manner.
• Coordinate with internal teams (sales support, supply chain, production, finance, marketing).
• Analyze sales performance and food service market trends.
