Job summary

Markov Construction is seeking an experienced Financial Controller in Bali to own project financial control, cash-flow planning, budgets, payments, collections and management reporting. This role reports to Directors and collaborates with PMs, Procurement, HR and external advisors.

The successful candidate will ensure visibility over financial position, link forecasts to client payments, and deliver robust financial plans to support ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in finance, accounting or financial control.
• At least 3 years of experience within construction, property development or another project-based industry.
• At least 2 years of experience in a senior, supervisory or financial-control position.
• Proven experience managing project cash flows, budgets and financial forecasts.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian financial requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead project cash flow forecasting linked to construction programmes and progress claims.
• Maintain budgets and cost-to-complete forecasts for each project.
• Manage company cash, accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations.
• Oversee client invoicing, collections and payment controls.
• Provide Directors with clear financial reporting including variances and risks.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations and internal controls.
