Job summary

Six Senses Bali is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the resort's financial operations within the Six Senses standards. The role partners with the General Manager and executives to set strategic direction and ensure accurate reporting to owners and the Home Office.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 4–8 years in hotel accounting or audit, and at least one year in a supervisory role, with CPA preferred and fluency in English. Indonesian citizens only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent and 4-8 years in hotel accounting or audit with at least one year in an Assistant Controller or similar supervisory role.
• CPA preferred.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective management of the resort’s accounting practices and provide financial information and reporting to divisions, Home Office, and owners.
• Prepare the annual budget and capital expenditure plan and monitor performance to budget.
• Oversee financial transactions, including approval of requisitions, payments, payroll, audit and other financial requests.
• Ensure internal controls comply with financial, legal, and taxation requirements and that systems are effective.
• Respond to audit issues and address deficiencies with appropriate actions.
• Improve the financial function in line with Six Senses practices.
• Ensure Purchasing meets Six Senses Sustainability & Eat with Six Senses guidelines.
• Conduct vendors/suppliers vetting, stock takes, and storage assessments as needed.
• Deliver pre-established financial returns related to revenue, profitability and ROIC.
• Operate the property in compliance with legal, statutory, and financial requirements and maintain documentation and safety protocols.
