Job summary

PRIMA ENERGY is seeking a Drilling & Workover Contract Engineer who will manage commercial, legal, and technical procurement for drilling and workover services. You will prepare ITB packages, evaluate bids, and administer service contracts to align with project timelines and budgets.

The role requires hands-on experience with drilling/workover tenders, strong negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of risk and cost estimation within the oil and gas sector.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of risk allocation and cost estimation.
Experience negotiating and administering complex service contracts.
Experience with drilling/workover tenders and vendor bids.
Familiarity with oilfield equipment and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Prepare scopes of work and ITB packages for drilling, completion, and workover services.
Conduct technical and techno‑commercial bid evaluations and draft award recommendations.
Negotiate terms, manage variations, and resolve contract disputes.
Coordinate with drilling/completion teams to align equipment and services with timelines and budgets.
Ensure compliance with local standards and SKK Migas guidelines in Indonesia.
