Job summary

Cermati Fintech Group is seeking a data analyst to interpret data, analyze results, and drive fact-based decisions. You will build robust data querying, transformation, and visualization pipelines using Excel, SQL, BigQuery, Python, and R to support business insights.

You will develop analytical reports, present findings to management, and identify opportunities for process improvements based on data. Strong communication and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced fintech environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Statistics or related field.
• Expert in SQL with ability to write advanced DB queries (Python/R/Java/JavaScript desirable).
• Ability to disseminate data to identify key trends and dive deep into data behind them.
• Experience with large datasets and creating complex visualizations in a live dashboard environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with analytical tools (Jupyter, Python, Hive, BigQuery ML) is a plus.
• Ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data and analyze results using queries and statistical techniques.
• Create robust, reusable data querying, transformation, and visualization processes using Excel, SQL, BigQuery, Python, and R.
• Develop analytical reports and represent large, complex data visually.
• Present information to drive fact-based decision making.
• Propose and define new business process improvements based on data to drive business impact.
• Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information needs.
