Monroe Consulting Group is assisting a leading data center company in Indonesia by recruiting a Cost Control & Budgeting Manager. The role oversees company-wide budgeting, forecasting, cost monitoring, and variance analysis across operating expenditure, manpower costs, corporate overhead, and capital projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, 8+ years in budgeting/FP&A, and strong Excel/ERP skills, plus excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of budgeting, cost control, FP&A, project finance, or related finance experience.
• Proven experience managing company-wide annual budgeting and periodic forecasts.
• Strong experience in OPEX, CAPEX, manpower expenditure, and corporate overhead budgeting and control.
• Demonstrated experience with variance analysis and root-cause identification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and consolidation of the company's annual budget and periodic forecasts.
• Develop detailed budgets by department, cost center, project, account, and expenditure category.
• Coordinate with budget owners to set realistic OPEX, manpower, overhead, and CAPEX assumptions.
• Review budget submissions and challenge assumptions to align with business priorities.
• Monitor actual expenditure against budgets and forecasts across departments and projects.
• Perform budget-versus-actual and forecast-versus-actual variance analysis and investigate variances.
• Identify cost overruns and financial risks, providing timely warnings and recommendations.
• Track budgets for data center construction, fit-out, expansion, and capital projects.
• Prepare management reports covering budget performance, risks, variances, and cost trends.
