Job summary

PT. Erajaya Swasembada, Tbk. is seeking a seasoned professional for end-to-end Site & Store Development in Jakarta. The role focuses on site acquisition, design, maintenance, and new store development with a strategic plan for expansion.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in channel and store development, strong mall expansion experience, and excellent English and interpersonal skills, with willingness to be based in Jakarta and travel as required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in channel development and site/store development for a retail company.
• Strong track record in store expansion, especially in malls.
• Excellent English communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Analytical thinker who can perform under pressure.
• Willing to be based in Jakarta office (Gedong Panjang) and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end Site & New Store Development (site acquisition, design, maintenance, refurbishments).
• Contact potential tenant developers to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
• Develop strategic plans for store expansion.
• Conduct location feasibility studies for outlet expansion.
• Evaluate location proposals from agents, landlords, and mall operators.
• Negotiate rental terms.
• Manage tenancy renewals.
• Oversee operations to ensure efficiency, quality, service and cost control.
• Review reports and financials to track progress and adjust objectives.
• Identify and report local market trends and requirements.

• Responsible for end to end Site & New Store Development (Site Acquisition, Project Design, Project Maintenance & Refurbish and New Store Development).
• Contacting potential tenant development for area (commercial, office, etc.) to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
• Developing a strategic plan to advance store expansion.
• To do location Feasibility Study for outlet expansion.
• Looking at all potential location proposal either by Agents, Landlords, and Mall Operators, Licensee and location proposals.
• Rental Negotiation.
• Tenancy Renewal.
• Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service and cost-effective management of resources.
• Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.
• Identify & report on local market trends & requirements.

Qualifications

• Have an experiences minimum 10 years in channel development / Site & Store Development of retail company.
• Strong exposure in Store expansion experience in Malls.
• Good communication in English
• Good interpersonal skill
• Strong analytical thinking and able to work under pressure
• Willing to be place in Jakarta office, full WFO (Gedong Panjang)
