Job summary

Decathlon Indonesia is seeking a Store Department Manager in Bekasi to lead a sports department with an intrapreneurial mindset. You will develop people, craft a strong commercial strategy, and deliver an outstanding omnichannel customer experience while balancing People, Planet, and Business performance.

You will recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team, create a safe and inclusive work environment, and lead with Decathlon values.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (verbal and written).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail store leadership role.
• Experience in retail, store operations, or team leadership.
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset.
• Ability to manage performance, priorities, and action plans.
• Able to work on-site in Bekasi.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enrich, and take care of human capital: recruit, onboard, and develop a strong and engaged team; create a safe, healthy, and inclusive work environment; lead with Decathlon values and foster responsibility and autonomy.
• Build and manage commercial policy on priority sports: leverage customer data to set clear ambitions and the right omnichannel offer; create strong digital customer experiences and activate communities; build seasonal plans and high-performing teams.
• Manage the “best in class” omnichannel customer experience: deliver superior shop-floor service; apply selling fundamentals and layout standards; manage customer loyalty initiatives; drive continuous improvement from feedback; ensure easy product finding for customers; drive department dynamism.
• Performance & Business Management: build and manage an annual business and team plan; monitor performance and forecast reliability; analyze gaps and adjust actions; optimize workforce scheduling and productivity; manage levers across People, Planet, and Business; ensure stock availability and accuracy.
• Duty management: guarantee daily store safety and operation; know store systems and equipment; assume responsibility for daily store operations during shifts.
