Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a seasoned Steam Turbine-Centrifugal Compressor (STC) Specialist/Field Advisor to support customer sites across Indonesia. The role emphasizes installation, configuration, calibration, and repair of STC equipment, with on-site training and proactive maintenance to minimize downtime.

You will interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, ensure safety and quality compliance, and collaborate with field teams.

Qualifications

• Min D3 engineering background: Mechanical.
• General knowledge of mechanical and Steam Turbine/Centrifugal Compressor maintenance.
• Familiar with tools, hand tools and special tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings, symbols and P&ID diagrams.
• Familiar with safety codes and commissioning procedures.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, calibrate and repair STC equipment at customer sites.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions and provide on-site training.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and information security standards.
• Lead project tasks: project plans, inspections, and technical documentation.
• Develop technical packages (IRFs, drawings, BOM) for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with field service teams and customers; travel as required.

This includes performing maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and providing on-site training to customer support personnel.
