Job summary

PT Sulzer Indonesia is seeking a Steam Turbine-Compressor (STC) Specialist/Field Advisor with extensive outage experience in steam turbines and centrifugal compressors. The role includes developing technical packages, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and occasional travel to customer sites.

Minimum 15 years in related fields and a D3 Mechanical Engineering background are required. Strong diagram reading, alignment, and safety procedure knowledge are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

Job description

Steam Turbine-Compressor (STC) Specialist/Field Advisor

Advisory work on centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, dry seal sealing systems, ISO carbon seals, lube oil systems/consoles, steam sealing systems, condensers, steam turbine controls, servos, valves, bearings, seals (wet & dry), and piping. Project-related tasks include project management, detailed technical procedure development, project plan development/review, inspection test plan development/review, and inspection record form development/review.

About you

Minimum 15 years of relevant experience working on Outage of Steam Turbine and Compressor, or customer Petrochemical experience

Minimum D3 engineering background in Mechanical

Strong technical competence in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams, dial and laser alignment and thermal growth equipment

Solid understanding of Steam Turbine and/or Centrifugal Compressor Operation & Controlling Parameters

General knowledge of mechanical and overall Steam Turbine/Centrifugal Compressor maintenance

Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and data

Familiar with technical drawing, symbols and legend, P&ID diagram

Familiar with safety code and procedure for startup and commissioning

Familiar with tools, hand tools, and special tools
