Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Purwakarta, Indonesia. You will perform pre-commissioning and commissioning of rotating equipment, supervise repair and overhaul work, and lead field activities including startup tests and site coordination. Fluency in English and strong teamwork are essential.

You will ensure compliance with ISO, HSE, and Sulzer standards, travel to project sites as required, and collaborate with customers and OEMs to deliver reliable equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience repairing rotating equipment.
• Experience with OEMs is an advantage.
• Experience in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating equipment.
• Willingness to travel and work on project sites.

Responsibilities

• Pre-commissioning and commissioning of installed, repaired or overhauled rotating equipment.
• Lead DIRA of rotating equipment and associated auxiliary equipment according to drawings and specs.
• Troubleshooting, root cause analysis and rectification on mechanical, electrical and instrumentation components and systems.
• Lead start-up and testing of new installations/erections or overhauled units of rotating equipment.
• Monitor field sequence activities and report to office; ensure findings are written.
• Coordinate with customers and third parties on site as RES representative.
• Ensure all work aligns with ISO procedures, HSE and company regulations.
