Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspection and monitoring throughout the automotive painting/coating process.

• Analyze quality problems and support root cause analysis using methods such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, or other problem-solving tools.
• Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports and defect monitoring data.
• Ensure production processes comply with applicable SOPs, WI, and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement and quality improvement activities to reduce defects and improve product quality.
• Maintain quality-related documents and records in accordance with ISO 9001.

Job Description

Perform quality inspection and monitoring throughout the automotive plastic painting/coating process.

Ensure finished products meet established quality standards and customer requirements.

Inspect product quality, including appearance, color, coating thickness, adhesion, and painting defects.

Identify, record, and monitor defects or non-conformities during the production process.

Analyze quality problems and support root cause analysis using methods such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, or other problem-solving tools.

Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.

Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports and defect monitoring data.

Ensure production processes comply with applicable SOPs, Work Instructions (WI), and quality standards.

Support continuous improvement and quality improvement activities to reduce defects and improve product quality.

Maintain quality-related documents and records in accordance with the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Basic knowledge of Quality Control (QC) / Quality Assurance (QA) in manufacturing is preferred.

Knowledge of quality inspection, defect identification, and problem-solving.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Detail-oriented, disciplined, responsible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Willing to work in an automotive painting/coating manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance, preferably in the automotive, painting, coating, or plastic injection industry.

Basic understanding of ISO 9001 and continuous improvement.

Knowledge of painting/coating quality inspection methods.

Familiarity with common painting defects and their countermeasures.
