MatchaTalent is seeking a Tax Supervisor in Jakarta to lead monthly tax calculations, returns, and compliance across CIT, VAT, and withholding taxes. The role requires hands-on knowledge of Indonesian tax rules and collaboration with the finance team and external consultants.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of Indonesian tax experience, supervisory exposure, and Bachlor-level education in accounting or related fields, with fluency in Mandarin and English for stakeholder communication.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional Indonesian taxation experience, preferably in shipping/logistics or multinational firms.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in tax compliance.
• Valid Tax Consultant Certificate (BKP) and Brevet A, B, C certifications.
• Experience preparing monthly tax calculations and returns, and corporate income tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes and related compliance.
• Experience coordinating with tax authorities or external consultants.
• Fluent Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Prepare, review, and submit monthly tax calculations and returns.
• Assist in preparing Annual Corporate Income Tax Return and other reports.
• Review journal vouchers and invoices for tax treatment.
• Monitor CIT, VAT, withholding taxes, and other tax obligations.
• Identify tax exposures, compliance gaps, and tax-related risks.
• Ensure timely tax payments and accurate tax records.
• Support tax audits and examinations with documentation.
• Coordinate with tax authorities and external consultants on audits and appeals.
• Monitor changes in Indonesian tax laws and assess impact.
• Identify opportunities for compliant tax planning and optimization.
• Provide tax advice to management on transactions.
• Coordinate with accounting and AP teams for tax treatment of vendor invoices.
• Establish tax documentation and internal controls.
• Prepare tax risk assessments and updates for Finance Manager.
• Help improve tax processes for accuracy and efficiency.
