Job summary

PT. Varnion Technology Semesta is seeking a network technician to troubleshoot, maintain, install, and configure network devices.

The role involves handling core and distribution networks, responding to emails and alarms, and monitoring connections across private and public networks, including data center links and BGP Internet connections. The candidate should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems, with at least one year of routing and switching

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience with routing and switching.
• Good knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
• Familiar with Mikrotik devices and other switch brands.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, maintenance, installs & configure new network devices, and configure new connections on infrastructure or customer side.
• Handling core and distribution networks.
• Respond to emails and alarm alerts on group chat.
• Respond to alarms on the network monitoring system and resolve issues.
• Monitor all connections (private & public) and ensure proper operation, including data center links and BGP internet connections.
• Generate daily reports from the NMS based on resolved cases.

• Monitoring device network running on NMS - Daily report via tools based on incoming resolved case.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 1 Year Experience - Have Excellent Knowledge in routing and switch technology
• Have strong knowledge Routing Protocol (BGP, OSPF, and etc)
• Have strong knowledge on various Switch device plaftorm.
• Have good concept for OSI End-to-End Communication Layer & TCP 3-way handshake flow
• Familiar with Mikrotik devices and any other switch devices brand
• MTCNA or CCNA Certified preferred
• Having Excellent Communication Skill (verbal and written)
• Possess strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
