Job summary

Alchemy Yoga & Meditation Center in Bali seeks an Engineering Staff to ensure facilities, equipment, and utility systems are safe, clean, and fully operational, supporting smooth daily operations.

You will perform routine inspections, prepare maintenance checklists, coordinate with vendors, and assist other departments as needed. The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance, and based in Bali.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: SMK or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering, or related field.
• At least two years of engineering or building maintenance experience in commercial facilities.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to operate engineering tools safely and effectively.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of utility systems (electrical, HVAC, water, drainage, safety, security, and equipment).
• Inspect building and civil facilities (walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, roofs, common areas).
• Prepare maintenance checklists and prioritize repair schedules.
• Perform routine inventory checks of engineering tools and equipment.
• Monitor spare parts usage and maintenance materials inventory.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair work.
• Prepare regular inspection, maintenance, and repair reports for the Manager.
• Assist other operational departments when required and when no engineering work is pending.

Job description

The Engineering Staff is responsible for ensuring that all facilities, equipment, and utility systems within the Yoga Center are safe, clean, well‑maintained, and fully operational. This role supports smooth daily operations while providing a safe and comfortable environment for guests and employees.

Key responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of the Yoga Center's utility systems, including electrical systems, air conditioning and ventilation systems, water supply and plumbing systems, drainage and wastewater systems, safety systems, security systems, and operational equipment

Conduct regular inspections of the building and civil facilities, including walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, roofs, and common areas to ensure they remain safe, clean, and in good working condition

Prepare maintenance checklists and prioritize repair schedules based on urgency

Perform routine inventory checks of engineering tools and equipment

Monitor the usage and inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials

Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair work

Prepare regular inspection, maintenance, and repair reports for the Manager

Assist other operational departments when required and when no engineering work is pending

About you

Minimum education: Vocational High School (SMK) or Diploma (D3) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering, or a related field

Minimum two years of experience in engineering, building maintenance, hotels, villas, gyms, wellness centers, or other commercial facilities

Good knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, air conditioning systems, and general building maintenance

Ability to operate engineering tools and equipment safely and effectively

Good problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Willing to work shifts when required

Must be based in Bali
