Job summary

Villa Kayu Raja seeks an MEP Engineering Staff to ensure safe, efficient operation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across the villa complex.

The role covers pool maintenance, water systems, electrical and AC upkeep, plumbing, and routine repairs to guest areas, with weekend/holiday shifts expected.

Qualifications

• SMK diploma or D1/D3 in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration or Civil Engineering.
• 1–2 years hands-on MEP experience in hospitality (hotels, resorts, or luxury villas).
• Proficient in basic electrical (single- and three-phase) systems.
• Knowledgeable in AC maintenance (Split/Cassette) and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Perform water quality checks (pH, chlorine), pool cleaning, and maintain pumps/filtration.
• Ensure water heaters and booster pumps operate optimally across villa units.
• Inspect and resolve leaks, clear drains, and maintain septic tanks and grease traps
• Inspect and repair villa electronics (TVs, refrigerators, coffee makers, sound systems)
• Test backup generator (Genset), monitor fuel/oil, and ensure ATS operates during outages
• Service AC (cleaning) and repair refrigeration in guest rooms and public areas
• Maintain refrigeration units, stoves, washing machines, and dryers in operations
• Address maintenance needs on wooden structures, decking, and timber furniture
• Touch-up painting and repair doors/locks/sanitary fittings to keep high aesthetics

Job description

The MEP Engineering Staff is responsible for ensuring that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems at Villa Kayu Raja operate safely, efficiently, and smoothly. This role ensures guest comfort, maintains villa facilities, and promptly handles technical issues and emergency repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform water quality checks (pH and chlorine levels), clean private pools, and carry out regular maintenance on pool pumps and filtration systems
• Ensure water heaters (electric, solar, or heat pumps) and booster pumps are operating at optimal performance across all villa units
• Promptly inspect and resolve pipe leaks, clear clogged drains (sinks, toilets, showers), and maintain septic tanks and grease traps
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on villa electronic devices, including TVs, refrigerators, coffee makers, and sound systems
• Conduct routine running tests on backup generator (Genset), monitor fuel and oil levels, and ensure the automatic transfer switch (ATS) functions during power outages
• Perform routine servicing (AC cleaning), check refrigerant levels, and repair cooling systems in guest rooms and public areas
• Maintain commercial/residential refrigeration units (chillers/freezers), stoves, washing machines, and dryers in operational areas
• Identify and address maintenance needs on wooden structures, pool decking, and timber furniture caused by weathering or pests
• Perform touch-up painting, repair door locks, hinges, and sanitary fittings to maintain high aesthetic standards

About you

• Minimum Vocational High School (SMK) diploma or Associate Degree (D1/D3) in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in MEP engineering within the hospitality industry (hotels, resorts, or luxury villas)
• Proficient in basic electrical work (single‑phase and three‑phase systems)
• Knowledgeable in AC maintenance (Split/Cassette units) and plumbing systems
• Experienced in swimming pool maintenance and chemical handling
• Basic carpentry and painting skills are a strong plus
• Strong guest‑service orientation and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays
