Job summary

PT SERATUS EMPAT HUB is seeking an agricultural professional to manage the end-to-end rice cultivation cycle, from seedling through harvest. You will evaluate land conditions, select seed varieties, and oversee land preparation, planting, fertilization, irrigation, maintenance, and harvest.

The role requires hands-on decision making in the field, identifying pests and plant problems, and implementing corrective actions. Experience with other crops like chili or corn is a plus.

This role involves managing the complete rice cultivation process from seedling to harvest, including determining and evaluating seed varieties according to land conditions and production targets, managing land preparation, planting, fertilization, irrigation, maintenance, and harvesting.

Key responsibilities

Handle the rice cultivation process from seedling to harvest

Determine and evaluate varieties/seedlings according to land conditions and production targets

Manage land preparation, planting, fertilization, irrigation, maintenance, and harvest

Identify and manage pests and diseases in rice plants

Analyze problems such as suboptimal growth, pest attacks, weeds, soil conditions, and other cultivation issues

Determine corrective actions and monitor the results of handling

Evaluate productivity and efficiency of cultivation

Create reports and documentation of activities and production results

Support development of other agricultural commodities such as chili, corn, and other commodities

About you

Minimum education SMA/SMK; D3/S1 in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agrotechnology or related fields preferred

Understand the complete rice cultivation process, from seedling to harvest

Able to identify and manage pests, diseases, weeds, and plant problems and land conditions

Experienced in making decisions and handling problems directly in the field, not just theoretical knowledge

Understand the basics of land management, fertilization, irrigation, and plant maintenance

Experience with chili, corn, or other crops is an added value

Willing to work mobile in the field
