Job summary

Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) is seeking an experienced Agronomy Improvement Project Lead to drive productivity enhancements at our Jakarta Head Office. You will oversee diagnostic assessments, design tailored solutions, and manage projects from planning through evaluation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related field, 3+ years as an Agronomy Assistant, strong analytical and communication skills, and willingness to travel to plantation sites. Jakarta Head Office placement.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience as an Agronomy Assistant.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments/diagnostics to identify areas requiring improvement.

• Define project planning, timelines, scope, structure, and team member roles for specific projects.
• Identify daily operational issues/risks during implementation and report them to the Head of Agronomy Improvement & Advisory.
• Oversee project execution to ensure completion according to objectives, timelines, and budget.
• Ensure knowledge gained from executed initiatives is reviewed, modified, and evaluated.
• Maintain effective communication with plantation stakeholders to ensure all projects run successfully.
• Oversee daily project-related tasks on the ground.

Responsible for identifying and analyzing areas needing improvement, designing solutions to enhance productivity, and managing improvement projects from planning and implementation to performance evaluation. Oversee project execution to ensure alignment with target timelines, budgets, and established objectives, while identifying and reporting risks throughout implementation. Ensure knowledge transfer from each executed initiative and maintain effective coordination with all plantation stakeholders to support successful on-ground project execution.

Job Description:
