Job summary

DKatalis is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape the future of digital banking. You’ll lead the UI/UX of mobile and web platforms, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and researchers to craft user-centered experiences that are simple and beautiful.

We value a strong portfolio, 8+ years in UI/UX (fintech/banking a plus), excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills, and the ability to translate research insights into practical design decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in UI/UX for digital products, fintech or banking experience is a plus.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design, visual excellence, and cross-platform solutions.
• Skilled in conducting user research and transforming insights into practical design solutions, while effectively communicating the narrative to stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Great Design and Creativity: Create stunning, consistent designs that make banking simple and enjoyable for users, use and improve our design systems to keep it cohesive, build smooth user flows, spot and fix design issues, follow existing patterns and create new ones.
• Research, Planning and Process: Use data and smart planning to ensure our products meet user and business needs; identify key user data; collaborate with research and data teams to test ideas; plan product features and goals; align designs with business objectives; follow and improve design process.
• Leadership, Teaching and Teamwork: Lead by example, mentor designers, communicate complex ideas clearly, take ownership of business challenges, foster an open environment, give helpful feedback, mentor others using the design process, work with leads to prioritize feedback.
