Job summary

PT. Samudra Maju Perkasa is seeking an experienced Mine Planning Engineer to support long, mid, and short-term mine planning. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mining Engineering and at least five years in mine planning/engineering, with strong design skills and software proficiency.

You will draft SPO and production schedules, perform forecast vs actual analyses, manage OPEX/CAPEX budgets, and coordinate with operations, geology, geotechnical, survey, and production teams on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Mine Planning/Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mine design (pit, disposal, haul roads/ramps) and sequencing.
• Understanding Geotechnical aspects in mine planning.
• Proficient in mine planning software: Minescape, Surpac, Micromine, Vulcan, MineSched.

Responsibilities

• Draft Long Term, Mid Term, and Short Term Mine Plans.
• Draft SPO, mining sequence, and production plan.
• Forecast, plan vs actual, reconciliation, and deviation analysis.
• Understand OPEX, CAPEX, budget and mine planning cost.
• Optimize mine planning and problem solving.
• Coordinate with Operation, Geology, Geotechnical, Survey and Production.
• Open to work on site at PT Samudra Maju Perkasa's site area.
