Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, focused on data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Professional certifications are highly valued.
• Proficiency in designing and analyzing power distribution systems (medium/low voltage).
• Knowledge of backup power systems like UPS and generators.
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and codes (NEC, IEC).
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical simulation software.
• Ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for data centers: power distribution, lighting, grounding, backup.
• Ensure designs meet local regs, IEC/IEEE/NFPA/BICSI standards.
• Provide advisory on electrical infrastructure for energy efficiency and reliability.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical, and IT teams to integrate electrical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design & Engineering: Develop electrical system designs for data centers, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and emergency backup systems.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs adhere to local regulations, international standards, and industry best practices (IEC, IEEE, NFPA, BICSI, Uptime Institute guidelines, etc.).
• Technical Advisory: Provide expert consultation and recommendations on electrical infrastructure to optimize energy efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Coordination & Collaboration: Work alongside architects, mechanical engineers, and IT specialists to integrate electrical solutions into the overall data center infrastructure.
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Review and approve electrical systems, components, and installations provided by contractors and suppliers.
• Testing & Commissioning: Oversee electrical system testing, validation, and commissioning to ensure proper functionality and operational efficiency.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential electrical risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure redundancy planning for critical power systems.
