Job summary

Altius Hospitals Puri Indah is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

You will provide regular therapy sessions to improve articulation and AAC usage, guide families on home exercises, and collaborate with physicians and other therapists. A valid license and 2 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3), Bachelor's (S1), or Master's (S2) in a health-related field with specialization in Speech Therapy.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Therapist.
• Valid official practice license or professional registration.
• Strong empathy, patience, and communication skills with children and adults; meticulous data recording.

Job description

Conducting assessments to detect speech disorders (such as stuttering or articulation issues), language delays, cognitive-communication disorders, and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).

Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Conducting regular therapy sessions to help patients improve word articulation, strengthen throat and mouth muscles, and practice using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools.

Providing guidance to families or caregivers on supporting home-based exercises, and collaborating with physicians, psychologists, and other therapists.

Documenting patient progress, updating medical records, and periodically evaluating the effectiveness of therapy methods.

Requirements :

Hold a Diploma (D3), Bachelor’s (S1), or Master’s (S2) degree in a health-related field, specializing in Speech Therapy.

Minimum 2 years experience in Speech Therapist

Possess a valid official practice license or professional registration.

Demonstrate high empathy, patience, and strong communication skills with both children and adults, as well as meticulousness in data recording.
