Job summary

Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) is seeking an Agronomy Assistant to support budget planning and coordinate the daily work plan across the division in Riau. The role involves leading morning circles, coordinating Mandor and Kerani, and maintaining strong relationships with employees and local authorities.

You will review daily reports, handle non-harvest premium requests, and monitor costs versus budget while ensuring safe storage and timely transport of TBS and brondolan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related field.
• Up to 4 years of experience as Agronomy Assistant or similar.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to be located in Riau, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Plan budgets based on field conditions and MCAR input standards.
• Lead the morning circle at the division’s office to organize daily work.
• Coordinate Mandor and Kerani to ensure daily work plan (RKH) is executed as targeted.
• Maintain good relationships with employees, government officials, community leaders and local communities.
• Review and sign daily reports on employment, materials usage, and progress of third parties.
• Request non-harvest premiums based on work completed.
• Explain division operating costs vs. budget monthly.
• Ensure TBS and brondolan are stored safely and transported the next day.

Job Description:

• Arrange budgets based on field conditions and MCAR input standards

• Leading the morning circle at the division’s office for the day’s work arrangements

• Coordinate all Mandor and Kerani to ensure the daily work plan (RKH) is carried out according to the target set

• Fostering good relationships with employees, government officials, community leaders and communities surrounding the division

• Examine and sign all daily reports of employment, use of materials, employment and progress / work of third parties

• Request non-harvest premium based on the work done

• Explain the operational cost of the division between budget and actual monthly

• Ensure that there is a restriction of TBS and brondolan, stored safely and transported the next day at the first opportunity

Job Requirement:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Agronomy

• Maximum 4 years of working experience as Agronomy Assistant

• Good communication skills

• Willing to be located in Riau
