Job summary

Blibli.com is seeking an experienced Odoo Developer to design, build, and customize modules across multiple business domains. You will implement features in Python with the Odoo framework, and create robust integrations with external systems via REST APIs and other protocols.

The role requires strong Odoo knowledge, PostgreSQL expertise, and solid OOP skills. You will collaborate across teams to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions and contribute to architecture discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field; equivalent practical experience accepted.
• Minimum 3 years of professional software development; at least 3 years with Odoo/ERP.
• Strong Python proficiency and experience with Odoo Community/Enterprise editions.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including design, queries, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Strong OOP and software design principles.
• Experience with Git, Linux, and deployment processes; Java/Spring is a plus.

Job description

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules across multiple business domains.
• Develop new features and enhancements using Python and the Odoo framework , following established coding standards and best practices.
• Build and maintain integrations between Odoo and third-party applications using REST APIs, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC , and other integration methods.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions .
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and system scalability to ensure reliable Odoo operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues , while supporting module migrations and upgrades across Odoo versions.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders throughout the software Development lifecycle, including technical discussions and solution design.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain technical documentation, contribute to architecture decisions, and mentor junior developers to strengthen engineering practices.

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering , or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also considered.
• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience , including at least 3 years of hands-on Odoo/ERP development experience .
• Strong proficiency in Python and extensive experience developing with Odoo Community and/or Enterprise editions .
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL , including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and third-party system integrations .
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.
• Experience with Git and modern version control workflows , as well as Linux environments and software deployment processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and collaboration abilities; experience with Java and/or Spring Framework is a plus.
